Three People in Altercation with Security Guard at Bundaran HI Revealed as West Java Police Officers
Police officers have conducted a mediation session between a security guard and three individuals in a Toyota Alphard at the Menteng Metro Police Sector on Friday (24/7/2026). During the meeting, it was revealed that the three people who intimidated the security guard are members of the West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar).
Menteng Metro Police Chief AKBP Braiel Arnold Rondonuwu stated that his team mediated between the security guard, Fiktor Harefa (27), and the three individuals he had an altercation with on Wednesday (22/7/2026). As a result of the mediation, both parties agreed to resolve the matter amicably.
“Both parties forgave each other, acknowledged their mistakes, and forgave each other. That is what I can convey on this evening, colleagues. Please, Mr Lawyer,” he said on Friday (24/7/2026) evening.
According to him, the mediation process was also witnessed by the Internal Security Division (Paminal) of the West Java Police, as the Alphard driver and the two passengers are members of Polda Jabar. “Yes, personnel from the West Java Regional Police,” he said.
Although the case has been settled amicably, Braiel stated that the police will still follow up on the traffic violation committed by the Alphard driver. Furthermore, the police will also investigate the acts of arrogance displayed by the three police officers.
He explained that the handling of the traffic violation by the Alphard driver will be followed up by the Traffic Law Enforcement Sub-directorate of Polda Metro Jaya, including the issue of the Alphard’s non-compliant number plate.
Meanwhile, the handling of the alleged arrogant actions by the three individuals will be followed up by the Professional and Internal Security Division (Bid Propam) of the West Java Police. “Regarding what was mentioned earlier about several alleged acts of arrogance by the driver and passengers, this evening it will also be followed up by the Bid Propam of the West Java Police,” said Braiel.
Meanwhile, Fiktor’s legal counsel, Wiradarma Harefa, stated that the problem experienced by his client has been resolved amicably. However, he confirmed that the three officers involved in the altercation with his client have been detained by the Paminal of the West Java Police’s Bid Propam.
“Yes, so now they are also detained, but between the security officer Fiktor and the vehicle driver and his three passengers, it has been mediated and they have both accepted and acknowledged that a misunderstanding occurred,” he said.
