Three Parents in Jeneponto Assault Teacher After Disciplinary Action Against Child

Three parents have been reported to the police after allegedly assaulting a 59-year-old teacher, identified as NU, on the grounds of SD Negeri 14 Tamalate in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi. The incident took place on Wednesday, 12 August, after the parents received information that their child had been subjected to disciplinary action by the teacher. Enraged, the parents confronted and attacked NU at the school. Following the incident, both the teacher and the parents filed reports with the police, with the parents alleging their child had been subjected to violence by NU. Police are currently gathering witness statements and evidence from both reports to determine the facts of the case.
