Three new toll gates operating

JAKARTA (JP): The state-owned highway company PT Jasa Marga has opened three new toll gates, one in Serang Timur, another in Meruya, both on the Jakarta-Merak toll road, and the other in Kalihurip on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

Yunial Harun, spokesman for the company, said the operation of the Serang Timur toll gate started at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Meruya gate opened at 7:00 a.m. today.

"The Kalihurip toll gate will start operating at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow," he said.

The Serang Timur toll gate will facilitate traffic heading to Jakarta and Tangerang from Pandeglang and Rangkas Bitung and vice versa.

The Meruya gate will facilitate traffic going to the Meruya area in west Jakarta and vice versa, he said.

The Kalihurip gate will facilitate traffic from Jakarta heading to Cikampek in Bekasi and vice versa. (hhr)
