Three New Investors Join, Investment in the Nusantara Capital Reaches IDR 72 Trillion
The Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) has signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with three new investors. This signifies that the development of IKN in East Kalimantan continues and continues to receive support from various business investors.
The three investors who signed the PKS are PT Panca Karya Sentosa, PT Maxi Nusantara Raya, and PT Borneo Berkah Abadi. The cooperation includes the development of commercial and public facilities ranging from shopping centres, culinary areas, to sports facilities spread across development areas 1A and 1C.
“All of these projects are designed to support the daily needs of residents in the area, including civil servants (ASN) and the community in the Nusantara area,” said Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono in a written statement, Wednesday (25/2/2026).
Basuki noted that investment developments in Nusantara continue to show a positive trend. As of early 2026, as many as 57 companies have committed to investing with a value of around IDR 72 trillion.
“Currently, as of early 2026, there are commitments from 57 companies with a total of pure private investment of IDR 72 trillion. The development of IKN is also increasingly increasing in terms of public trust, including in the business sector, especially with the presence of Presidential Regulation No. 79 and the presence of the President and Vice President,” said Basuki.
In the future, the development of commercial, social and other supporting facilities will continue to be encouraged to support the growth of the urban area ecosystem. This step is expected to bring various economic activities and strengthen the appeal of the Nusantara Capital as a new centre of civilisation in Indonesia.
The IKN Authority ensures ease in the licensing process and assistance for investors so that the implementation of the project can run faster and more precisely. Strong commitment is also shown by the business actors involved.
One of the investors from PT Maxi Nusantara Raya, Suni Yuwono Kusbandi, said that his presence in IKN was not solely oriented towards profit, but also played a role as a contributor to the development of the Nusantara area.
“We have been given the opportunity to invest in sector 1A and the location is also good. We are committed that this is IKN, we must make it happen. So I no longer calculate profits. Profit and loss are secondary, we must create the ecosystem,” he said.
