Three Named Suspects in Vilmei's Rp 1.28 Billion Embezzlement Case
Bekasi City Police have named three people as suspects in the alleged embezzlement of Rp 1.28 billion belonging to content creator Vilmei. All three have also been detained.
Bekasi City Police Chief Senior Commissioner Putu Kholis Aryana said the case has now entered the investigation stage. Police named the suspects after finding a number of pieces of evidence pointing to the alleged criminal act.
“It is already under investigation and they have been named as suspects. The suspects have been detained,” said Senior Commissioner Putu Kholis when asked for confirmation on Saturday (29/8/2026).
Putu explained that the suspects were named after the investigation team found strong evidence of criminal acts committed by the three individuals.
“Based on the results of the inquiry and investigation, evidence of criminal acts by the three suspects was found,” he said.
The three suspects have the initials Z, A, and L. Z is an employee of Vilmei, while A is known to be Z’s partner. L is suspected of having a role in receiving money related to the case.
Asked about the suspects’ modus operandi, Putu said his team is still looking into the matter. Investigators are matching statements from witnesses and suspects to piece together the full construction of the case.
“It is still being investigated and the consistency of statements between witnesses and among suspects is being assembled with the existing evidence,” Putu concluded.
Previously, influencer Vilmei reported the alleged embezzlement of Rp 1.28 billion. Vilmei shared this on her personal Instagram account.
Vilmei uploaded a video of herself looking for the alleged perpetrator. She was holding evidence of a withdrawal from her account.
“Today I am sad and very stressed. One of my employees took Rp 1,282,915,000. One of the people here,” Vilmei said, as seen on her personal account on Tuesday (25/8).
The former partner of Willy Salim gathered eight employees who regularly handle her TikTok account. Initially, Vilmei asked for someone to confess rather than having to make accusations.
“This was taken from my TikTok account money, which I had never touched at all since I started creating content. For seven years I never touched it. There was only around Rp 1 million left. When I wanted to pay for a meal, the remaining balance was only Rp 1 million,” Vilmei said.
