The Traffic Directorate of the Metro Jaya Regional Police is once again operating mobile driving licence services at three locations in Jakarta on Sunday (5/7/2026). The service is intended for residents who wish to renew their SIM A and SIM C licences without having to visit a licence administration office. Based on information shared by the Metro Jaya Police via its official X account @tmcpoldametro, the mobile service counters will operate from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Western Indonesia Time. The outlet at Istora Senayan will serve the public for longer, until 6 p.m. The three service locations are on Jalan Raden Mas Intan, next to McDonald’s Duren Sawit in East Jakarta; Jalan Panjang, next to Indomaret Kebon Jeruk in West Jakarta; and the Istora Senayan area, at Jalan Pintu Satu Senayan, Gelora, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. Before visiting the location, applicants are asked to prepare several requirements, including a photocopy of a valid identity card, the original driving licence that has not yet expired, a health certificate, and proof of a psychological test via the Simpel Pol application. The mobile service only processes renewals for active SIM A and SIM C licences. If the validity period has expired, even by just one day, the holder is required to apply for a new licence through the licence administration office in accordance with applicable regulations. Referring to Government Regulation Number 76 of 2020 on Non-Tax State Revenue types and rates within the National Police, the renewal fee for a SIM A is Rp80,000, while a SIM C costs Rp75,000. In addition to these fees, applicants are also charged for health and psychological tests according to the prevailing rates.
