A methamphetamine distribution network in the Bima region of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has been dismantled by police. In the operation, three drug distributors were arrested, one of whom is a repeat narcotics offender.

“The disclosure of this narcotics distribution network case was carried out at two different locations,” stated Jahyadi Sibawaih, head of the narcotics investigation division at Bima City Police, confirmed on Monday (2 March 2026).

The case began with a raid on the home of DH (47) in Melayu Village, Asakota District, Bima City, on Sunday (1 March 2026). Residents had reported that the house was frequently used as a location for methamphetamine transactions.

“In Melayu Village, two people were arrested, namely DH (47) and AH (32). The individual DH is a recidivist in narcotics cases,” he said.

During the raid at that location, police arrested DH and AH (32). DH was confirmed to be a repeat drug offender.

From the operation, police seized seven small plastic sachets containing ready-to-sell methamphetamine and one larger plastic sachet containing methamphetamine stored in a wooden cabinet.

“Other evidence seized included dozens of empty plastic sachets of various sizes, two cannabis cigarettes, one scale, two lighters, three spoons for snorting, one roll of clear tape, one smoking device (bong), three mobile phones and cash totalling 742,000 rupiah,” he said.

Following preliminary interrogation, Jahyadi stated that DH admitted that several items of evidence were his, obtained from someone with the initials FS. Without delay, officers moved to apprehend FS, who was located in Talabiu Village, Woha District, Bima Regency.

“When arrested, FS resisted and attempted to flee, but was successfully apprehended by officers,” he said.

From FS, officers successfully seized several items of evidence, including plastic sachets containing methamphetamine stored in cigarette packaging, one mobile phone and one lighter.

Jahyadi added that the total evidence secured from the three distributors—DH, AH and FS—consisted of methamphetamine weighing 28.37 grammes gross and cannabis weighing 1.05 grammes.

“The three distributors and evidence are currently at the Bima City Police Narcotics Unit for further legal proceedings,” Jahyadi concluded.
