Three Men Named Suspects for Abducting and Raping 13-Year-Old Student in Labuan Bajo

Three men, identified by the initials R (18), A (31), and NA (17), who abducted and raped a 13-year-old student identified as B in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), have been named as suspects. They face a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.

“The suspects were named following a case review,” said West Manggarai Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Lufthi Darmawan Aditya, on Friday (17/7/2026).

He explained that the determination was made after police obtained at least two valid pieces of evidence. The West Manggarai Police Criminal Investigation Unit now possesses witness statements, documents, physical evidence, and corroborating statements from the perpetrators.

R, A, and NA are charged under Article 473, paragraph (4) of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP), which carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison, and Article 415, letter b of the same law, which carries a maximum sentence of nine years in prison.

It was previously reported that three men in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, NTT, took turns raping a 13-year-old student. The victim, identified as B, was raped over a period of four days. For two days, the victim was held captive and raped in a villa. On the other days, she was raped in an empty shop in the centre of Labuan Bajo. The three men raped B between 10 and 13 July 2026. B was raped in the same shop on 10 and 13 July, while on 11 and 12 July, the victim was held captive and raped in a villa in Kampung Mburak, Macang Tanggar Village, Komodo District, West Manggarai.
