Three Men in Lombok Arrested for Raping Primary School Girl

Three men in North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), have been detained by police after raping a 10-year-old primary school student in turns. Police have named the perpetrators as suspects.

Head of the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) at the North Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Ipda L Risda Adiansah, said the three perpetrators, identified by the initials R, D, and S, are residents of Teres Genit Hamlet, Bayan Village, Bayan District, North Lombok.

“All three have been named suspects and detained. They are adults,” said L Risda, as reported by detikBali on Friday (28/8/2026).

The rape occurred on Thursday (13/8) at around 6.00 pm local time. At that time, the victim was sitting on the side of the road not far from her home after returning from playing with her friends. However, the victim did not go straight home.

The victim was using a motorbike at the time. Perpetrators R and D then passed by riding a motorbike together and saw the victim sitting alone. They approached the victim and started a conversation with her.

The victim was then invited to go for a ride. R took the victim on her motorbike, while D went to pick up perpetrator S. After that, the victim was taken to an empty building on the side of the road in Bayan District, North Lombok.

“Perpetrator R began the rape. He then offered the other perpetrator, D. After D finished, S carried out the rape,” he said.

“The victim was helpless and could only struggle, saying ‘stop, stop, stop’. But they ignored the victim’s cries,” he added.
