Three Journalists Killed in Israeli Attack in Lebanon

Three journalists were reported killed in an Israeli attack in Lebanon. The news of the three journalists’ deaths was conveyed by Lebanese military sources. According to AFP, three Lebanese journalists, including a correspondent from the Hezbollah-affiliated media outlet, were killed on Saturday (28/3/2026) local time. The Israeli attack targeted their vehicle in southern Lebanon. Al Shouaib, a journalist from Hezbollah’s Al-Manar channel, and Fatima Fatouni, a journalist from Al-Mayadeen, which is considered close to the Iran-backed movement, were killed in Jezzine, along with Fatouni’s brother and a cameraman, according to the sources. Al-Mayadeen and Al-Manar have confirmed the deaths of their journalists. As is known, Israel continues to bombard Lebanon. Most recently, Israel launched an attack on southern Lebanon, specifically in the town of Saksakiyah in the Sidon district. According to Al Jazeera, on Friday (27/3), the Israeli attack caused casualties. It was reported that four people were killed. In addition, eight others were reported injured. The exact identities of the dead and injured victims are not yet known.
