Three infants treated for HIV/AIDS

YOGYAKARTA: Three infants being treated at Sardjito Hospital are infected with the HIV virus, according to an official at the hospital.

The hospital had been treating another baby with the virus, but the infant died, Dr. Sunardi Radiono said.

Sunardi said the hospital had set aside a special section for HIV/AIDS patients.

He said the hospital had treated 14 people between the ages of 20 and 39 for HIV/AIDS. -- JP
