Four members of the Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara, have allegedly been stabbed by three Indonesian Army (TNI AD) soldiers. The violent incident occurred at a party venue in Labuan Bajo in the early hours of Thursday (11/6/2026).

Information from within the West Manggarai Police suggests the four stabbing victims are still being treated in the emergency department of Siloam Hospital in Labuan Bajo. The victims are reported to have suffered stab wounds to the chest, back and ribs.

“They are still in the Siloam emergency department,” a source within the West Manggarai Police disclosed on Thursday morning.

The trigger for the stabbing remains unknown, with investigations currently underway. Meanwhile, the three army soldiers suspected of carrying out the stabbing have reportedly been detained at the headquarters of Military District Command (Kodim) 1630/West Manggarai in Labuan Bajo.

Commander of Kodim 1630/West Manggarai, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Budiman Manurung, was unavailable for comment. Via WhatsApp message, Budiman promised to return the call.

Similarly, West Manggarai Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Lufthi Darmawan Aditya, has not responded to requests for confirmation. Lufthi did not answer phone calls or WhatsApp messages.
