Three women offering online prostitution practices, or open BO, in Bali have been arrested. The trio was apprehended by Immigration for misusing their stay permits.

The Head of the Denpasar Class I TPI Immigration Office, R Haryo Sakti, stated that the three foreigners are from Russia and Nigeria. The case was uncovered after officers monitored a website featuring offers of sexual services by foreigners.

“Following this discovery, the Intelligence and Enforcement Section team conducted an investigation and carried out raids at two locations simultaneously,” Sakti explained in his statement, as reported by detikBali on Monday (4/5/2026).

Immigration officers then searched two locations on Saturday (2/5). As a result, officers secured two women with initials EJN (21) from Nigeria and ED (22) from Russia at a villa in the Mengwi area, Badung.

The second location was a hotel in the Renon area, Denpasar. Officers arrested a Russian woman with initials AR (27) while she was in a room with a man.

From the examination by immigration officers, it was learned that EJN entered Indonesia via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on 21 March 2026. ED then entered via I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport on 10 March 2026.

Both entered with visitor stay permits (TK) and are suspected of misusing them for illegal activities. Meanwhile, AR also holds a TK and entered Indonesia on 22 April.

“The three foreigners have been brought to the immigration office for further examination. He emphasised that there is no room for the misuse of stay permits in Indonesia,” Sakti added.

Sakti stressed that there is no tolerance for the misuse of stay permits for activities that violate the law or norms in Indonesia. Immigration, he said, ensures that every foreigner complies with applicable regulations and has a positive impact while in Indonesia.
