The Head of the Denpasar Class I Special Immigration Office, R Haryo Sakti, revealed that the three foreign nationals are from Russia and Nigeria. According to him, the uncovering of the online prostitution practice began with monitoring by officers of a website featuring offers of sexual services by foreign nationals.

“Following that finding, the Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement Section team conducted an investigation and carried out raids at two locations simultaneously,” Sakti stated, as quoted by detikBali on Monday (4/5/2026).

Sakti explained that immigration officers combed two locations during the operation held on Saturday (2/5). The first location was a villa in the Mengwi area, Badung. At that site, officers secured two women with initials EJN (21) from Nigeria and ED (22) from Russia.

EJN is recorded as entering Indonesia via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on 21 March 2026. Meanwhile, ED arrived via I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport on 10 March 2026. Both entered with Visit Stay Permits (ITK) and are suspected of misusing them for illegal activities.

The second location was a hotel in the Renon area, Denpasar. Officers secured a Russian woman with initials AR (27) while she was with a man in the hotel room. AR, also holding an ITK status, is known to have arrived in Indonesia on 22 April.

“The three foreign nationals have been brought to the immigration office for further examination. He emphasised that there is no room for the misuse of stay permits in Indonesia,” Sakti added.
