Three foreign nationals have been deported by the Singaraja Class II Special Immigration Office for violating the terms of their stay permits. The individuals are an Indian national with the initials AKG (48), a Singaporean national with the initials RN (44), and a Chinese national with the initials ST (34).

Head of the Singaraja Immigration Office, Anak Agung Gde Kusuma Putra, stated that the deportations were the result of immigration surveillance operations within the agency’s jurisdiction. Investigations revealed that AKG and RN were organising and acting as yoga instructors at a villa in Buleleng. Meanwhile, ST was allegedly installing machinery and providing operational training to staff at a company in Karangasem.

Agung disclosed that the three foreign nationals entered Indonesia using visit stay permits. AKG and ST used a Visa on Arrival (VOA), while RN utilised the Visa Exemption facility. According to Agung, these stay permits are only intended for specific visit activities and cannot be used for work or other activities inconsistent with the purpose of the visa grant. Consequently, the three foreigners were found to have violated immigration stay permit regulations.

‘Every foreign national is required to use a visa and stay permit in accordance with the purpose of their arrival. For any violation, we will take action in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations,’ Agung said in a written statement on Wednesday (15/7/2026).

As a result of these violations, the three foreign nationals were deported and proposed for inclusion on the blacklist pursuant to Article 75 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 122 letter a of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. They were deported via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Friday (10/7/2026).
