Three die in car accident

KEBUMEN, Central Java (JP): Three university students died on
the spot after their car hit a tree, overturned, and plunged into
an irrigation canal here on Tuesday.

Deputy chief of local police precinct Maj. M.X. Soekarno said
it was possible that the driver, Salahudin Ayubi, a student from
a university in Surabaya, might have lost control of the car
because he had been exhausted.

The two other victims were Asep Yusuf Saefurochman from
Ciamis, West Java, and Ahmad Sutrisno from Cilacap, Central Java.
Their bodies were laid out at the Kebumen public hospital.

Another passenger, Bambang Suherman, survived the accident.
