Three Die in Bantargebang Waste Mountain Landslide: Truck Driver and Shop Owners

Three people were killed in a landslide at Bantargebang’s Integrated Waste Disposal Facility (TPST Bantargebang) in Bekasi, West Java. The victims were Enda Widayanti, 25, a female shop owner; Sumine, 60, a female shop owner; and Dedi Sutrisno, a male truck driver, according to Desiana Kartika Bahari, head of the Jakarta Search and Rescue Office, on Sunday (8 March 2026). The bodies were taken to funeral homes in Banten and Karawang: Enda and Sumine to Banten, Dedi Sutrisno to Karawang. The landslide occurred in Zone 4 of Bantargebang TPST, Bekasi, and three people were found dead after being buried by the landslide. The incident was reported around 15:29 WIB this afternoon, with many trucks and people at the site.
