Three detained for raping girl

BEKASI, West Java (JP): Police yesterday arrested three young men after a teenage girl said they had sexually her on Tuesday night.

Accompanied by her father, Ina, 15, a junior high school student, told police she had been sexually assaulted after meeting the men at a shopping mall.

A police officer at the Bekasi police precinct said the suspects were identified as Fir, Lay and Wah, aged between 16 and 18 years.

The officer said Fir admitted sexually harassing Ina near a railway station before taking her to his house in the Tambun area where Wah assaulted her.

The suspects told police they drugged Ina's coffee before assaulting her.

Ina's parents said Ina left home after a quarrel with her mother on Tuesday. She went to the mall with one of her friends but did not come home until the next day.

"When she came home she immediately took a bath and washed all her clothes," her mother said. (kod)
