PT Elnusa Petrofin (EPN), a subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), is celebrating its 30th anniversary under the theme “Connecting Your Energy”. The theme reflects the company’s three-decade commitment to connecting energy with people’s lives, supporting industrial growth, advancing the regions, and promoting sustainable development in Indonesia.

Established on 5 July 1996, the company has continued to grow and transform into a provider of energy services and integrated supply chain solutions. Over 30 years, Elnusa Petrofin has played a strategic role as one of the spearheads in supporting national energy distribution and equalisation, including reaching areas with challenging geographical conditions.

The theme “Connecting Your Energy” illustrates Elnusa Petrofin’s role in connecting every point of the energy supply chain with the needs of communities and businesses. It also represents the company’s spirit in linking operational reliability with technology, business growth with social responsibility, and today’s energy needs with a more sustainable future.

President Director of PT Elnusa Petrofin, Doni Indrawan, said the 30-year journey is the result of the trust, collaboration, and dedication of all stakeholders who have grown alongside the company.

“Thirty years is not merely a marker of the passage of time, but a reflection of the trust and great responsibility entrusted to Elnusa Petrofin. For three decades, we have been present to ensure energy is distributed safely and reliably, while delivering ever broader benefits to Indonesian society and the environment,” said Doni.

Connecting Energy to the Farthest Corners of the Nation

Throughout its business journey, Elnusa Petrofin has continuously strengthened its capabilities across a range of services, from energy transport and logistics, terminal and energy storage facility management, and infrastructure development, to fuel provision for the industrial and maritime sectors, as well as integrated lubricant and chemical services.

With an operational network stretching from Sumatra to Papua, Elnusa Petrofin supports the realisation of energy equity through supply chain management tailored to the characteristics of each region.

In eastern and western Indonesia, the company has developed energy logistics services using a multimodal approach to reach areas with limited access. Elnusa Petrofin has also contributed to infrastructure development, such as the Labuan Bajo Fuel Terminal and the Tembilahan Fuel Terminal, which serve as important nodes in strengthening energy supply reliability for communities and economic activity.

Entering its 30th year, Elnusa Petrofin has again demonstrated its operational readiness in supporting the government’s strategic agenda through the maiden distribution of B50 Industrial Biodiesel from the Indonesia Bulk Terminal on Pulau Laut, South Kalimantan. This step represents the company’s contribution to strengthening national energy resilience while increasing the utilisation of domestic energy resources.

“Connecting Your Energy is our commitment to continually connect energy with every activity that moves Indonesia. We want to ensure that behind every unit of energy distributed, there is a reliable system, competent human resources, ever-advancing technology, and the responsibility to safeguard safety and sustainability,” said Doni.

Digital Transformation for Safe Energy Distribution

Elnusa Petrofin’s commitment to safeguarding the reliability of national energy distribution is reinforced through digital transformation across its operational lines.

One of these strategic innovations is the development of Road Traffic Control (RTC) and the Remote Asset Daily Activity Recorder (RADAR). RTC integrates GPS tracking technology and artificial intelligence-based cameras to monitor fleet movements, driver conditions, speed limit compliance, and potential route deviations in real time.

Meanwhile, RADAR is used to enhance the effectiveness of activity and asset integrity monitoring, particularly at operational sites in remote areas or those requiring special oversight.

The use of this technology forms part of Elnusa Petrofin’s efforts to strengthen operational excellence and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) excellence, while ensuring every energy distribution process runs safely, efficiently, reliably, and responsibly.

Digital transformation is directed not only at improving productivity, but also serves as an important instrument in protecting workers, communities, company assets, and the environment around operational areas.

Supporting the Energy Transition and Low-Carbon Operations

In line with industry dynamics, Elnusa Petrofin continues to strengthen its role in supporting the energy transition agenda and achieving the Net Zero Emissions 2060 target.

This commitment is realised through Elnusa Petrofin’s involvement in implementing the Green Terminal at the Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal in Cilegon, Banten. This initiative integrates environmental management, operational digitalisation, environmentally friendly technology, circular economy principles, biodiversity protection, and human resource capacity building.

Its involvement in the Green Terminal and the distribution of B50 Industrial Biodiesel forms part of Elnusa Petrofin’s transformation from a conventional energy logistics company into an integrated energy services provider that is increasingly adaptive to the development of low-carbon energy.

The company also continues to promote energy efficiency, waste management, reforestation, environmental conservation, and the application of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in its business activities.

Connecting Energy with Goodness

For Elnusa Petrofin, energy plays a role not only in powering vehicles, industries, and the economy. Energy must also be able to drive compassion, open opportunities, and improve the quality of people’s lives.

Throughout 2025, Elnusa Petrofin carried out 1,010 corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities across 98 operational units spread throughout Indonesia. These programmes have benefited more than 52,000 people, particularly communities around operational areas and vulnerable groups.

One of Elnusa Petrofin’s flagship CSR programmes for the public is the Free Ambulance programme, launched in July 2025, which has received enthusiasm and appreciation from many beneficiaries who have been helped by the initiative.

The company’s CSR programmes are run through the five pillars of Petrofin Peduli: Petrofin Pintar in education, Petrofin Sehat in health, Petrofin Resik in the environment, Petrofin Aman in community safety, and Petrofin Tanggap in disaster and emergency response.

Their implementation is directed at supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, including No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-Being, Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Responsible Consumption and Production, and Climate Action.

Through the active involvement of Elnusa Petrofin officers in employee volunteering activities, the company seeks to ensure that business growth goes hand in hand with improving community welfare and environmental resilience.

Moving into the Next Decade

Entering its fourth decade, Elnusa Petrofin will continue to enhance its capabilities and competitiveness through strengthening operational excellence, applying HSSE standards, digital transformation, human resource development, expanding its business portfolio, and implementing sustainability principles.

Collaboration with the Pertamina Group, government, customers, partners, communities, media, and all stakeholders will serve as an important foundation in facing an increasingly dynamic energy industry.

“We extend our appreciation to all Elnusa Petrofin officers, the Pertamina Group, government, customers, partners, communities, media, and all stakeholders who have been part of this journey. That trust is the energy that drives us to keep moving, innovating, and delivering our best contribution to Indonesia,” said Doni.

Doni said Elnusa Petrofin will continue to connect energy, technology, people, and sustainability. “We are committed to becoming an energy services company that is ever more resilient, relevant, and capable of delivering tangible benefits for the nation. Connecting Your Energy, for an Indonesia that continues to move forward,” he said.
