JAKARTA: City police have taken into custody two people following a deadly accident that took place on Jl. Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta in the eastward direction heading to Cawang interchange, East Jakarta on Sunday evening.

The two being detained are Indonesian Ong Beng Song and her Singaporean husband Way May Wan.

According to the police report, the accident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. in front of Hero Supermarket. Ong was driving an Isuzu Panther minivan B 8505 TY and tried to overtake a bus from the left lane.
