KAI Commuter has apologised for disruptions to the KRL Bogor-Jakarta Kota route this morning. As a result of the disturbance, at least three Bogor-Jakarta Kota KRL services experienced delays.

“KAI Commuter conveys its apologies to all passengers for the inconvenience caused by technical issues with the door system on Commuter Line No. 1203, Bogor - Jakarta Kota, on Monday (28/9) morning,” said the VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Karina Amanda, when contacted on Monday (28/9/2026).

“The issue caused delays to journeys on the Bogor - Jakarta Kota line,” she added.

Karina noted that the incident began at 07:03 WIB. Initially, officers received a report of a malfunction in one of the train doors, specifically the third door from the rear of Commuter Line No. 1203, while stopped at Platform 1 of Citayam Station.

“KAI Commuter officers immediately coordinated with the technical team from PT INKA and the Train Affairs Supervisor (PUKRL) Depok to carry out emergency repairs on-site,” said Karina.

Previously, the KRL doors were closed and locked manually. However, the train resumed its journey from Citayam Station at 07:10 WIB towards Jakarta Kota Station to undergo further inspection.

Technical officers coordinated and addressed the train issue directly. Currently, KRL services have returned to normal operations.

As a result of the disruption, three Bogor Commuter Line services experienced delays, including:

  1. Commuter Line No. 1203 (Bogor - Jakarta Kota) was delayed by 8 minutes.

  2. Commuter Line No. 1205 (Bogor - Jakarta Kota) was delayed by 7 minutes.

  3. Commuter Line No. 1207 (Bogor - Jakarta Kota) was delayed by 6 minutes.
