Three bodies found in Aceh

BANDA ACEH: Three Acehnese were found dead in Aceh on Sunday. Syamsuddin, a member of staff of the local office of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), said the bodies were found in the mountainous Paro area, some 36 kilometers west of the city. The dead were residents of Pasi Lhong Village in the Aceh Besar regency.

"The three were identified as Zulkifli, 50, Abdul Rafar, 30, and Ali Akbar Cut, 46. They are believed to have been killed 12 hours before their bodies were discovered," he said.

The bodies which bore signs of torture were taken to Zainal Abidin General Hospital before being handed over to their relatives for burial. --Antara
