Three arrested for illegal logging

PALU, Central Sulawesi: Palu Prosecutor's Office has arrested three people held responsible for rampant illegal logging in south Palu.

During the arrest on Saturday in Layanan Indah, 43 cubic meters of logs were seized, which will be sold to the public, said the deputy director of general crime at the prosecutor's office on Tuesday.

The three suspects -- IDS, MUK and RUS -- are residents of Kawatuna district. -- JP
