THR for civil servants disbursed Rp3.1 trillion, Purbaya targets completion next week

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa reported that the disbursement of the Idul Fitri 1447 H Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR) for the state civil apparatus had reached Rp3.1 trillion as of 6 March 2026 and is targeted to be fully disbursed next week. “Maybe a week from now (it will be finished). Some THR has already been disbursed,” Purbaya said in a media briefing at the Finance Ministry in Jakarta on Friday. The breakdown of THR disbursement as of 6 March 2026 at 16.30 WIB was Rp3 trillion for the central ASN. This amount is paid to 631,000 employees out of a total 2.2 million ASN. Then, for regional ASN, the THR already disbursed amounted to Rp127.6 billion for 16,848 employees, carried out by 3 local governments out of 546 regional administrations. Meanwhile, THR payments for retirees have been disbursed amounting to Rp11.4 trillion for 3,568,570 retirees. Retiree THR payments are almost fully disbursed, with a realisation of 93.5 percent. “All ready; only matter is how quickly they disburse it,” said Purbaya. As a note, the government has prepared a budget of Rp55 trillion for disbursement of THR for the ASN, including civil servants with work contracts (PPPK), the TNI/Polri, and retirees. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the THR budget for ASN this year rose by 10 percent compared to last year, which was Rp49 trillion. Disbursement of THR is being carried out in stages from 26 February 2026 to no later than seven days before Eid al-Fitr. Airlangga outlined that ASN THR in 2026 will be disbursed to 2.4 million central ASN and TNI/Polri with a total budget of Rp22.2 trillion. Next, 4.3 million regional ASN will receive THR with a total of Rp20.2 trillion. Meanwhile, 3.8 million retirees will receive budget allocation of Rp12.7 trillion. The minister noted that THR components are paid 100 percent in full, including basic salary, family allowance, food allowance, job allowance, and performance allowances in accordance with applicable regulations. He also emphasised that THR is different from the 13th salary. The 13th salary is usually paid in June.
