THR for 8,000 Part-Time PPPK in Bandung City: Mayor Farhan Cannot Promise They Will Receive It

Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan said he will coordinate regarding the holiday allowance (THR) for civil servants with work contracts (PPPK) who work part-time. However, he admitted he cannot promise anything yet.

‘Towards THR, there is no rule per se; it’s up to policy (the local head),’ he said at Mapolrestabes Bandung on Monday, 2 March 2026.

Specifically for part-time PPPK, he said he cannot promise regarding the THR payment, because it still has to be calculated and consulted with the Bandung City DPRD first.

‘I cannot promise yet because it must be calculated and consulted, including with the DPRD,’ he said.

He noted that THR for ASN, TNI and Polri remains in accordance with the rules. Farhan said the total PPPK in Bandung City amounts to 8,000 people, while civil servants (ASN) reach 20,000.

‘Our focus at the moment is on part-time PPPK so that performance remains maintained,’ he said.
