Makassar (ANTARA) – Thousands of worshippers enthusiastically enjoyed the iftar programme attended by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud, at the Kubah 99 Asmaul Husna Mosque, CPI Makassar City, on Tuesday.

The Governor of South Sulawesi, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, stated that this iftar programme is part of a special service for the Muslim community in Indonesia, supported by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and was also attended by the South Sulawesi Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), several Regents/Mayors, and thousands of worshippers.

“Alhamdulillah, today we can break our fast together with thousands of people from South Sulawesi. This activity was also attended by members of the Forkopimda, local government officials, and the general public who need special attention,” said Andi Sudirman.

This iftar programme is a form of concern from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Muslims in various countries, including Indonesia, especially in South Sulawesi.

Andi Sudirman also prayed that the King of Saudi Arabia and the royal leadership would always be given good health and ease in carrying out their duties, especially in maintaining the two holy mosques of Islam, namely the Masjidil Haram in Mecca and the Masjid Nabawi in Medina.

“May Allah SWT always grant them good health, ease, and rewards in carrying out their duties, especially in maintaining the two Holy Mosques of Islam,” he concluded.
