Thousands of Tirta Hita Buleleng Customers Affected by Water Supply Disruption

Thousands of customers of Perumda Tirta Hita Buleleng are affected by disruptions to clean water services due to repairs and pipeline network coupling. The work is being carried out as a result of the redevelopment of the Singaraja City zero point area.

The Managing Director of Perumda Tirta Hita Buleleng, Made Lestariana, stated that the service disruptions have been occurring since Monday (11/5/2026) until Wednesday (13/5/2026). These disruptions impact urban areas covering 14 villages and sub-districts.

The affected areas include Paket Agung Sub-district, Banjar Tegal, Liligundi, Kampung Singaraja, Astina, Kendran, Banjar Jawa, Banjar Bali, Kampung Baru, Kampung Kajanan, Kampung Anyar, Kampung Bugis, Kaliuntu, Banyuasri, Baktiseraga, Pemaron, Tukadmungga, Anturan, Kalibukbuk, and up to Kaliasem.

Lestariana explained that the disruptions are due to repairs and coupling of the main transmission network from Mumbul to Tegal Sari.

“We are relocating the pipeline route along with network repairs. Previously, around the Singaraja City zero point, there was a pipeline crossing that was not deep enough, so it needs to be improved,” she said on Tuesday (12/5/2026).

During the work process, Perumda Tirta Hita Buleleng is distributing clean water to affected customers using tanker trucks.

“Since yesterday, we have deployed tanker trucks from morning until 23:00 WITA. A total of 18 water tanks have been distributed for free. We ask for understanding from the affected customers,” she concluded.
