The momentum of Eid al-Adha has again been leveraged by several companies to expand social activities for the community. This year, J99 Corp distributed 17 sacrificial cows across Indonesia as part of its 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Adha social programme. One of the cows weighed 1,280 kilograms.

Nine cows were slaughtered in Malang, East Java, at the Juragan99 Trans Garage. Meanwhile, the distribution of meat packages to the public took place at the MS Glow Office warehouse grounds.

In addition to Malang, eight other cows were distributed to various cities for local communities and orphanages to extend the benefits of the sacrifice to more recipients.

Overall, the company aims to distribute approximately 2,000 meat packages to the public, particularly in Malang and surrounding areas. J99 Corp founder Gilang Widya Pramana stated that Eid al-Adha is an opportunity to strengthen social care and the spirit of sharing among fellow citizens.

‘We hope the sacrificed animals this year will bring benefits and blessings to the local community,’ Gilang said in a statement.

This year’s Qurban programme was also conducted on behalf of 119 selected employees through an official akad system. The initiative is described as the company’s appreciation for the loyalty and contributions of employees across J99 Corp’s business units.

Shandy Purnamasari, founder of J99 Corp and MS Glow Beauty, said the annual Qurban activity is a form of gratitude for the company’s journey and growth.

‘We hope this spirit of sharing continues to be a positive culture within J99 Corp. We want Eid al-Adha to serve as a reminder to remain caring, strengthen togetherness, and share happiness with those in need,’ Shandy said.

Through this initiative, J99 Corp hopes the Qurban programme will not only be part of the annual religious observance but also strengthen communal spirit and social solidarity within communities.
