Thousands of Prospective Students Flock to BINUS University New Student Admissions
Jakarta (ANTARA) – Thousands of prospective students and their families flocked to a series of BINUS University New Student Admissions activities, which included consultations, selection processes, and guidance on study programmes and educational opportunities offered by the campus. The high level of public enthusiasm was reportedly driven by BINUS University’s scholarship programme, which provides educational assistance of up to 100 per cent. The programme has become one of the main attractions for prospective students seeking to pursue higher education. BINUS University Rector Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M., stated that the growing public interest in new student admissions reflects the increasing need for inclusive higher education access that is relevant to future developments. “We are seeing more young people with great aspirations to develop on a global level. Through scholarship programmes of up to 100 per cent, BINUS University is committed to broadening access to education so they can learn, grow, and prepare themselves for future challenges,” Nelly said. According to BINUS University, the high level of interest also reflects a growing awareness among prospective students and parents to choose a university that not only offers academic quality but is also relevant to industry needs and capable of providing an international-standard learning experience. BINUS University noted that it currently ranks first among private universities in Indonesia based on the QS World University Rankings 2027. Furthermore, more than 95 per cent of BINUS students, known as BINUSIAN, have reportedly gained international experience through student exchange programmes, collaborations with overseas universities, or involvement in global industry programmes. To support graduates’ readiness for the workforce, BINUS University is also developing technology-based learning, including artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation, while expanding collaborations with industry so that students gain practical experience aligned with market demands. As it enters its 45th year, BINUS University stated it will continue to expand access to quality education and prepare graduates with the competence, character, and competitiveness to succeed at a global level.
