Thousands of PLN Customers in South Sulawesi-West Sulawesi Region Utilise Power Upgrade Discount Programme

PT PLN (Persero) has recorded that 2,470 customers utilised the power upgrade discount programme within the PLN Distribution Main Unit for South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, and West Sulawesi (UID Sulselrabar) between 20 May and 2 June 2026. The electricity upgrade programme, titled “MeiLaju Lebih Terang, Bangkit Berdaya, Maju Berjaya”, offered discounts of up to 50 per cent to commemorate the Birth of Pancasila.

General Manager of PLN UID Sulselrabar, Edyansyah, stated in Makassar on Wednesday that the programme represents PLN’s commitment to providing easier services to customers while celebrating the momentum of the Birth of Pancasila. “In honour of the 2026 Birth of Pancasila commemoration, PLN is presenting a 50 per cent power upgrade discount as a manifestation of Pancasila values in providing the best service to the community. This programme can be easily accessed through the PLN Mobile application, so please make use of it,” said Edlyansyah.

He explained that customers can obtain e-vouchers for power upgrades after completing a single transaction, such as paying electricity bills or purchasing tokens through PLN Mobile. These vouchers can then be accessed via the rewards menu within the application. Edyansyah added that each PLN Mobile account can obtain a maximum of four e-vouchers, while each customer ID is only entitled to participate in the programme once during the promotional period.
