Thousands of PKB Cadres Wear 'Prabowonomics' T-Shirts at 28th Anniversary, Cak Imin Explains Meaning

The National Awakening Party (PKB) held its 28th anniversary celebration at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Central Jakarta, on Thursday. Thousands of PKB sympathisers were observed wearing t-shirts emblazoned with the term ‘Prabowonomics’. Party Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, known as Cak Imin, explained the reason behind the attire. He stated that the world is currently facing uncertainty, and under President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership, Indonesia adheres to a principle of not being dictated to by the market. ‘What is it? The constitution, what is it? The economic mindset believed in by Mr. Prabowo. We call it Prabowonomics,’ he said. Cak Imin elaborated that ‘Prabowonomics’ signifies independence and a refusal to depend on any external forces. The 28th anniversary celebration was also attended by President Prabowo Subianto, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Democratic Party Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, PKS representative Almuzzammil Yusuf, PDIP representative Djarot Saiful Hidayat, PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, Golkar Party Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly Ahmad Muzani, and PSI Deputy Chairman Isyana Bagoes Oka, among others.
