Thousands of Demak Residents Return Home After Flash Flood Disaster

Residents are resting inside their damaged homes following the flash flood caused by the breaching of the Tuntang River embankment in Dukuh Solondoko, Trimulyo Village, Guntur District, Demak, Central Java, on Sunday (5/4/2026). Thousands of residents have started returning to their homes as the floodwaters gradually subside, while efforts to repair the breached embankment continue with the deployment of six heavy machines by the Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai (BBWS) Pemali Juana.
