Thousand Islands Regency Government Conducts Population Administration Training Throughout April 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Thousand Islands Regency Government (Pemkab Kepulauan Seribu), through the Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department (Dukcapil), is holding Population Administration Training (Binduk) activities in the Thousand Islands region from 1 to 30 April 2026.
Head of the Data, Information, and Supervision Section of the Thousand Islands Dukcapil Sub-Department, Angga, stated that the activity is a proactive effort to ensure orderly population administration (adminduk), particularly after the return flow of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.
The activity targets two sub-districts and six villages, including tourist islands and remote islands, among them Pulau Payung, Pulau Bidadari, Pulau Ayer, Pulau Pantara, Pulau Pelangi, and Pulau Macan.
According to Angga, both permanent and non-permanent residents must maintain orderly adminduk.
In addition to conducting outreach, they are also providing adminduk services for local residents and new arrivals.
“This data collection is important to verify resident status,” said Angga in Jakarta on Thursday.
From the Binduk results during April 2026, the Thousand Islands Dukcapil Sub-Department recorded a decrease in the number of new migrants moving to the island region compared to the same period in 2025.
“The number of new migrants entering the Thousand Islands region is only 19 people. This figure is much lower compared to the same period in 2025 with 50 people,” revealed Angga.
Angga detailed that in April 2026, there are 26 workers with the status of DKI Jakarta residents and 141 non-permanent workers operating on the tourist islands in the Thousand Islands.
This data serves as the basis to ensure that all residents operating in the Thousand Islands have appropriate population documents.
“This also aims to maintain orderly adminduk,” stated Angga.
Furthermore, he said that the public can monitor the data on the number of migrants transparently through the official dashboard of the DKI Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Service.
“We hope that all population movements can be well monitored, so that orderly adminduk in the Thousand Islands remains maintained,” expressed Angga.
