This morning, the odd-even traffic scheme returns on 25 Jakarta roads

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Traffic restrictions under the odd-even scheme on 25 major Jakarta roads will return this week, from Monday (9 March 2026) to Friday (13 March 2026). The odd-even rule is imposed to reduce traffic congestion during peak hours. The regulation applies in the morning from 06:00 to 10:00 WIB and in the afternoon to night from 16:00 to 21:00 WIB. The regulation remains the same as in previous weeks. Drivers must adjust their vehicle registration numbers to the date when crossing. If the odd-even rule is violated, drivers may be subjected to ticketing with a maximum fine of Rp 500,000 in accordance with UU LLAJ No. 22 of 2009.
