This is the KPK Examination Agenda for Gus Yaqut Today

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of former Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas (YCQ) on Wednesday (25/3/2026) afternoon. Yaqut will once again be questioned by KPK investigators regarding the Hajj quota corruption case at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag).

The examination of Yaqut is scheduled at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building. “We assure that the investigation of the case will continue to progress in accordance with the applicable mechanisms and legal provisions,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Wednesday (25/3/2026).

KPK stated that this examination is to complete the case file so that it can be promptly handed over to the public prosecutor (JPU). Thus, the Hajj quota case can be brought to court. “(The examination of Yaqut) is to complete the investigation file and hand it over to the prosecution stage as soon as possible,” Budi said.

In this case, KPK has previously designated Yaqut as a suspect along with former Special Staff to the Minister of Religious Affairs Isfan Abidal Aziz (IAA), alias Gus Alex.
