The Director of National Hospital, Dr Hendera Henderi, has ensured that National Hospital is preparing comprehensive and superior services. He noted that National Hospital possesses Centres of Excellence, allowing patients to be treated for cases ranging from simple to complex.

“At National Hospital, we are creating an integrated ecosystem, covering everything from registration until patients can be discharged in good condition. This even extends to patients requiring long-term care,” Hendera told CNBC Indonesia.

Hendera cited Parkinson’s disease treatment as an example of the care provided. He detailed that National Hospital prepares consultation services, including support systems for families, through to post-operative care. For recovery and rehabilitation, Hendera mentioned that National and Hospital possesses highly advanced medical rehabilitation systems, including robotic technology.

“We utilise Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), which has become even more advanced through the use of AI. Following surgery, the medical team can monitor patients both offline and online. We also play an active role in the Parkinson’s community ecosystem, such as our recent event with the Indonesian Parkinson’s community. We provide full support,” Hendera explained.

Hendera reaffirmed the commitment of the entire medical team, including collaboration between specialists and continuous discussion, to provide the best outcomes for patients. Consequently, he ensured that National Hospital utilises the latest technologies, including AI and appropriate innovations.

“In using technology, we combine the expertise of specialist doctors and sub-specialists with AI technology. These cannot exist in isolation; they must be collaborated. The goal is to achieve excellent results—precision, being more targeted, and being efficient,” concluded Hendera.
