Jakarta, 30 June 2026 – Thirteen innovative Indonesian businesses have been selected to join the 2026 cohort of the Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) Indonesia. The global technical assistance programme, funded by the UK Government, supports businesses focused on climate solutions to enhance their readiness to access investment. Globally, more than 230 businesses have been supported through the programme, with total investment mobilised reaching over US$500 million.

CFA Indonesia focuses on developing a pipeline of investable climate solutions, bringing together various stakeholders within the ecosystem, and strengthening the enabling environment for climate finance.

The selected businesses reflect the diversity of high-growth-potential companies operating across several key sectors in Indonesia’s climate agenda, including energy, transport, water and wastewater treatment, waste management and the circular economy, agriculture, forestry and land use (AFOLU), and manufacturing.

British Ambassador to Indonesia, Dominic Jermey, said: “I am delighted to see the quality and diversity of businesses selected for the inaugural cohort of the Climate Finance Accelerator Indonesia. These innovative climate entrepreneurs will benefit from high-quality technical support, from both Indonesian and international experts, to strengthen their readiness to attract investment and drive growth, innovation, and job creation. CFA represents a valuable opportunity for Indonesia and the UK, within the framework of our Strategic Partnership, to deliver shared benefits in driving green growth. By leveraging the strength of UK private sector expertise, we can mobilise climate finance at scale—a crucial step towards sustainable development and supporting Indonesia’s ambition to reach Net Zero by 2060.”
