The South Jakarta District Court has scheduled the first hearing of a pretrial motion filed by former Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Lodewyk Pusung for Friday, 4 September 2026.

The pretrial motion represents Lodewyk’s latest legal step to challenge the actions of investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office in the alleged corruption case concerning the governance of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme.

According to the Case Tracking Information System (SIPP) of the South Jakarta District Court, the first hearing is scheduled with an agenda of summoning the parties.

“Hearing date: Friday, 4 September 2026. Agenda: summons of the parties,” the information stated in the SIPP of the South Jakarta District Court on Saturday, 29 August 2026.

Lodewyk registered the pretrial motion on Wednesday, 26 August 2026. The motion has been registered under case number 150/Pid.Pra/2026/PN JKT.SEL.

In his latest motion, Lodewyk seeks to challenge the execution of the seizure carried out by Jampidsus investigators at the Attorney General’s Office.

However, the SIPP of the South Jakarta District Court has not yet displayed the petition or demands submitted by Lodewyk in the motion. The name of the single judge who will examine and adjudicate the case has also not been listed in the available information.

The first hearing on 4 September will serve as the initial stage for the court to process the pretrial motion.

This is not Lodewyk’s first such move. Previously, he also filed a pretrial motion at the Central Jakarta District Court in relation to the same case.

However, single judge Firman Akbar ruled that the Central Jakarta District Court did not have the authority to adjudicate the motion.

On that basis, the Central Jakarta District Court did not enter into the substance of the motion to assess the legality of the legal actions challenged by Lodewyk.

Previously, Lodewyk also challenged the validity of his designation as a suspect through a pretrial motion at the South Jakarta District Court.

In that case, single judge Abdul Affandi of the South Jakarta District Court declared Lodewyk’s pretrial motion inadmissible.

Now, Lodewyk is again pursuing the pretrial route at the South Jakarta District Court with a different object, namely the execution of the seizure by Jampidsus investigators at the Attorney General’s Office.
