Third Day of Tashriq: Indonesian Hajj Pilgrims Opting for Nafar Tsani Perform Stoning of Three Jamarat
Indonesian Hajj pilgrims opting for Nafar Tsani have commenced the ritual of stoning the Jamarat on the third day of Tashriq, according to Ichsan Marsha, spokesperson for Indonesia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj).
“On the third day of Tashriq, Indonesian Hajj pilgrims choosing Nafar Tsani perform the stoning of three Jamarat: Ula, Wustho, and Aqabah,” Ichsan stated during a live-streamed press conference via Kemenhaj’s YouTube channel on Saturday, 30 May 2026.
“We urge all Indonesian Hajj pilgrims opting for Nafar Tsani to complete the stoning ritual promptly according to schedule,” he added.
Following this, pilgrims will return to their tents in Mina to prepare for movement towards Mecca and their respective accommodations.
“This guidance is crucial to ensure the orderly departure of pilgrims from Mina to Mecca,” Ichsan explained.
“Prepare according to the departure schedule to ensure smooth service and collective comfort,” he urged.
The ministry has deployed Mina Task Force officers at various monitoring points and movement routes. A total of 1,356 officers are on standby to oversee crowd management, provide rapid response to pilgrims’ needs, and monitor movement.
Additionally, checkpoints at the Mu’ashim tunnel entrance near Syarikah, guidance posts for pilgrims heading to Jamarat, and monitoring posts for post-stoning departures have been established.
Ichsan also advised pilgrims to maintain their health as temperatures in Mina and Mecca remain high during midday.
“May all Indonesian Hajj pilgrims be granted health, strength, and smooth completion of their rituals, returning home as mabrur pilgrims,” he concluded.
