Thieves in trains
Thieves in trains
From Suara Karya
All home-coming travelers need to be careful when traveling on
executive-class trains that thieves are always eyeing their prey.
These thieves resemble magicians who are able to empty all the
contents of bags, even those that have been locked.
They also steal from under train seats and, apparently, have a
habit of only taking expensive items. The problem of lighting in
train carriages also seems to be advantageous to these thieves.
Although many have reported such losses, the Indonesian
Railway Company (PT KAI) and the Ministry of Transportation seem
unable to overcome the matter. It seems useless, therefore, for
us to have to pay for such an expensive ticket if there is no
security. PT KAI need to beef up security in train carriages, no
matter how the company go abut carrying out such measures.
