Thief breaks into police officer's car
JAKARTA: A thief broke into the car of Cilandak subprecinct chief Comr. Eko Kristanto on Saturday, and stole a Motorola cellular phone and Rp 4 million (US$392) in cash.
The silver Mitsubishi Lancer was parked in front of the health unit of the South Jakarta Police sub-precinct when the thief broke into the car through its rear window.
It was not immediately clear whether or not the car had a security alarm.
Police investigators said they have no clue as to who the thief was. --JP
