Indonesia’s Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) continued its upward trend, recording a rally over seven consecutive trading days.

At the close of trading on Friday (17/7/2026), the IHSG strengthened again and held more firmly above the 6,100 level.

Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, the IHSG closed up 1.10%, or 67.32 points, at 6,175.53. With this performance, the index’s cumulative gain for the week reached 4.24%.

Trading activity was also fairly busy. Total transaction volume reached 29.17 billion shares, with a transaction value of Rp16.34 trillion.

Of all shares traded, 349 shares closed higher, 261 declined, and 187 were unchanged.

The IHSG’s gains at the end of the week were also supported by the return of foreign fund inflows. Foreign investors recorded a net foreign buy of Rp638.57 billion across the entire market on Friday’s trading session.
