These Are the Three Judges Who Will Try Dr Tifa at East Jakarta District Court

The East Jakarta District Court has appointed a panel of judges to handle special criminal case number 301/Pid.Sus/2026/PN Jkt Tim against defendant Tifauzia Tyassuma, known as Dr Tifa. Court spokesperson Immanuel Tarigan stated on Friday that the East Jakarta District Court chief had selected Christina Endarwati to lead the proceedings. The appointment was made as part of the administrative process and case preparation. According to Tarigan, the appointed panel is considered to possess adequate capability and experience in handling various cases. The panel members for Dr Tifa’s trial will be Rudi Rafli Siregar and Mathilda Chrystina Katarina. To support smooth trial administration, the court has also appointed two substitute clerks, Joyo Supriyanto and Zuliana Maro. He noted that the determination of the judicial panel involved considerations of competence, integrity, and the relevant experience of the judges concerned. The appointment of the panel handling this case is the authority of the court chief, who has certainly considered the panel’s capabilities. The judge appointed to lead the trial also has extensive experience in handling various cases. The East Jakarta District Court previously scheduled the first hearing for Tifauzia Tyassuma, a suspect in an alleged defamation and slander case related to the authenticity of the academic certificates of Indonesia’s seventh president, Joko Widodo, for 2 July 2026. The trial will commence at 09.00 WIB in the Prof. Kusuma Atmadja Main Courtroom at the East Jakarta District Court. Meanwhile, the case involving Roy Suryo cannot yet be tried as it is still awaiting a pretrial process underway at the South Jakarta District Court. The case files for both defendants were transferred by the prosecution to the East Jakarta District Court on 23 June 2026 and have been declared complete following an administrative review by the criminal registry.
