This policy applies in several provinces with certain conditions, ranging from a declaration letter to a commitment to transfer the vehicle’s name in the following year. West Java The West Java Provincial Government has implemented a policy for paying motor vehicle taxes without the old ID since 6 April 2026 through Circular Letter Number 47/KU.03.02/Bapenda regarding Annual Motor Vehicle Tax Payments Without the Original Owner’s ID.
