There Are 16 New Cultural Heritage Sites in Jakarta, Could Become Holiday Destinations for Eid al-Fitr
KOMPAS.com - A total of 16 buildings, structures, and objects have been designated as new cultural heritage objects by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. “This designation is part of the local government’s ongoing commitment to protecting, developing, and utilising cultural heritage as an identity and important asset of the region,” said the Head of the DKI Jakarta Culture Agency, Mochamad Miftahulloh Tamary, as quoted by Antara on Sunday (22/3/2026). Now, there are 322 cultural heritage sites in DKI Jakarta, including the 16 new objects designated in 2025. This number consists of 266 buildings, 31 structures, 21 objects, two sites, and two cultural heritage areas.
