Theme and Logo for International Anti-Narcotics Day 2026 Released
The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has released the official theme and logo to commemorate International Anti-Narcotics Day (HANI) 2026. The celebration, which falls on 26 June, carries a strong message as a collective effort to protect the nation’s future from the threat of narcotics. For members of the public and various institutions wishing to participate in enlivening this commemoration, it is important to understand the campaign message and the philosophy behind the established visual identity.
Citing the HANI 2026 Commemoration Logo Guidelines document published by the BNN, the official theme is ‘Building a Healthy, Smart and Strong Generation Through the Ananda Bersinar Movement Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045’. This year’s theme focuses on strengthening the quality of the younger generation as the main pillar of the country. Through this theme, the government aims to reinforce a shared commitment to protecting children and adolescents through continuous prevention, education, and rehabilitation efforts.
The HANI 2026 commemoration is expected to be a catalyst for awareness among all elements of the nation. This effort is part of the endeavour to maintain the quality of the next generation, as the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045 can only be realised by healthy individuals of character, free from the influence of narcotics. The campaign message stresses that the narcotics problem is a legal issue as well as a humanitarian one that requires widespread concrete action.
According to official BNN sources, the HANI 2026 logo features a more humanist, optimistic, and future-oriented concept. Each visual element in the logo holds deep meaning: The circular shape symbolises the unity and collaboration of all elements of the nation in fighting narcotics, also representing the protection of society, especially children and the younger generation, from drug abuse. The dominant blue colour represents professionalism, stability, and security, while the golden yellow on the ‘HANI’ text symbolises optimism, the spirit of change, and the positive energy of the younger generation in embracing the future. The silhouette of children with raised hands depicts the spirit of togetherness and the courage to say ‘No’ to narcotics, with the lines of light behind them representing the spread of anti-narcotics spirit and public education that must be continuously strengthened across the country. The large and bold ‘HANI’ typography demonstrates a strong national and international commitment to the war on narcotics. Overall, this visual identity affirms that the effort to eradicate narcotics is a humanitarian movement to save the world.
