The value of consistency

A person can be trusted due to consistency in what he or she
has to say. One's life-style, conduct and performance are no
guarantee to the consistency needed. This also applies to a head
of state as he/she is not a politician who is adept at giving
lip-service or twisting facts and betraying his/her words.

Under present circumstances, when political instability
prevails, Indonesia requires a consistent leader who firmly
honors his/her statement made in public. People will regard the
leader's words as a binding lawful decision.

The presidential label has a magnificent meaning because it is
on the president's shoulders that responsibility lies for
maintaining the good repute and greatness of the country. Any
commitment made will be inscribed in people's hearts and sooner
or later people will demand the realization of the decision.
