The Story of Dulamin, a Fisherman Who 'Switched Careers' to Become a Goat Farmer on the Coast of Cilincing, North Jakarta

On the coast, specifically in the coastal settlement of Kampung Baru, Cilincing, North Jakarta, stands a 5x5 meter elevated pen made of wood. Inside the pen, which is divided into three sections, are several Peranakan Etawa goats. There is a pen for male goats, female goats, and even young goats. He wears a blue shirt and boots after returning from gathering grass for his livestock. However, his age now prevents him from going out to sea as he used to. After years of living as a coastal fisherman, Dulamin chose to start a new routine by raising goats. “When you get old, you just have to. I’ll stay here.
