The Source of Rp 3,370 Trillion Wealth to Double Next Year

Nvidia is expected to be able to reap twice the profits from previous levels, as the company plans to double the number of chips it will sell by 2027.

“I expect Nvidia to sell twice as many chips next year compared to this year,” said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, as quoted from CNBC International on Friday (18/09/2026).

This strategy is being implemented because, according to Huang, AI has contributed significantly to various industries and economies. Furthermore, it is claimed that more people are looking to invest in AI.

“The reason is that AI provides a major contribution to various industries and economies; you can see it in almost every country where we operate, people want to invest in AI,” he added.

However, the man with a wealth of Rp 3,370 trillion did not mention the total number of chips sold so far.

One known figure is the shipment of Blackwell GPUs. Last autumn, he stated that Nvidia shipped 6 million Blackwell GPUs over four quarters.

Nvidia is known to produce a variety of semiconductors, ranging from GPUs, CPUs, switch chips, and optical network chips to chips for laptops, Jetson chips for robots and cars, and chips for gaming consoles.

The company is also working to maintain a positive growth trend over the next six quarters. Nvidia has revealed its hope to grow by 70% or reach US$673 billion (Rp 11,940 trillion) in the fiscal year ending in January 2028.

Meanwhile, the AI industry is currently fraught with concerns after researchers warned that humans may no longer be able to control the most advanced AI. Several prominent figures and heads of major AI companies have also spoken out regarding this issue.

Huang himself stated that it is necessary to withhold products from the public that are unsafe, even though development must continue.

“When a product is unsafe, we must withhold it and continue with engineering,” said Huang.
