The public must pay

The public must pay

From Koran Tempo

The country's life is indistinguishable from many difficult
problems afflicting the state. Many catastrophes concerning
economic, legal, social and political issues continue to prevail
and have brought enormous suffering to the nation.

Unfortunately, it is always the general public who have to
shoulder the burden and suffer the greatest hardships.

The fuel price hike, for example, will surely trigger an
increase in the cost of other commodities, and again it will be
the poor who are the hardest hit.
